Easy read, introduces covered call options

It was pretty good. The book introduces a technique called covered call options, which supposedly gives you a chance to make more money off your stocks. It goes like this: someone pays you say $5 per stock for the option to buy your stocks at a certain price by a given date. 2 out of 3 scenarios they will not be able to cash in on this option they bought, so you will get to keep that money and your stocks. Does it work? I don't know. But when I can get into a position to invest, this technique does sound promising to test.
The best part about this book is it is clear and concise and also only about an hour read so you can learn enough to do some more research or test the technique yourself.

A Wall Street Bailout for Main Street is an eye opening book as well as educational. One thing I liked about this book is the author went to Harvard so she actually knows what she is talking about. Plus, she included other knowledgeable people as contributors which only enhances her credibility. While the title is long, it is attention grabbing for people like myself who are interested in this topic. I like how it referenced the impact of the UK deciding to exit the EU. I don't like reading educational books that are outdated. That type of information doesn't help anyone. This book includes current information which shows a direct impact from events on fiances. It was a little weird to see the sources so early in the book as opposed to the end of the book but luckily the topic was interesting enough to keep going through the book. The book was put together in a nice and professionally organized way. The book came with helpful figures which only enhance the learning component of the book. I like how the author put things in perspective for the average reader. The comparisons in the book make sense such as the rent stocks similar to renting real estate. The author continues to encourage you to do something with the knowledge presented instead of simply getting frustrated that big business got bailed out. It was nice to see the author share many people's feelings about the average person compared to Wall Street bail outs. Overall, this was a quality book that taught me many things.
